Marana’s plumbing follows the same split as its heating. Newer tracts on the valley floor were poured as slabs with the water heater in the garage, often gas or electric depending on whether the builder ran a main. Older Continental Ranch houses, many of them 85653, have tanks that have already been replaced once or are still the second decade’s original. Dove Mountain, frequently 85658, is not a Continental Ranch street with a view. Treat it as Dove Mountain when you are describing the house, and still say “garage tank” or “closet tank” so the plumbing note is not lost in the HVAC page.
