Plumbing and Water Heaters in Tucson

A request here is a callback from Sabino Creek Heating & Cooling. If the ZIP is in the area the form accepts, we share it with a licensed local contractor who can contact you about the plumbing. We do not send a truck, and we do not do the work.

Request a callback

Tell us what’s going on. We follow up by phone or email. Street address can wait. Sending this form is a request for a callback, not an appointment, and not a promise that a contractor is already on the way.

See our Privacy Policy and Terms. The TEP box is the heating-and-cooling question used on the rest of this site. Checking it does not create a plumbing rebate.

In short

Use this section to sort a plumbing problem and to see national cost ranges before you request a callback. HomeAdvisor’s figures are national. The Tucson notes we repeat are from a March 2026 ContractorBear article: water around 12–18 grains per gallon, monsoon drain and sewer stress, and a November–February freeze concern. Checked October 19, 2026. Sabino Creek does not repair, replace, or warranty the plumbing.

What you are requesting

Sabino Creek Heating & Cooling already takes heating and cooling requests for Tucson-area houses. Plumbing sits next to that work in the same homes: a gas water heater often shares a closet with a furnace, a monsoon that loads an outdoor coil can also back up a drain, and the first cold night is when both a heater and an exposed pipe get asked to behave. The request is still an introduction. You deal with the contractor on price, schedule, and warranty. The contractor may pay us a referral fee. That fee is not a line we add to your invoice, and it is not a claim that we employ the person who shows up.

Confirm the license before work starts. The Registrar’s classification list, read for this page, describes R-37 Plumbing, Including Solar as water and gas piping, fixtures, vents, and sewage treatment systems common to the trade, including the R-37R subclassifications. CR-37 Plumbing is the dual license that covers the commercial C-37 scope and the residential R-37R scope. We are not stating that any particular company holds either class. The lookup steps are on how to check an Arizona contractor license.

Pages in this section

What Tucson conditions we will actually say

We do not invent a local price, a soil study, or a count of broken pipes. The Tucson sentences on these pages come from ContractorBear’s March 2026 article on Tucson plumbing demand. That article says Tucson water averages 12–18 grains per gallon across most service zones, that this hardness shortens tank life relative to a national 10–12 years, that monsoon months from July through September stress drainage and sewers, and that November through February is a freeze-concern season because winter nights drop below freezing more often than people expect. Where a page needs a dollar figure, the dollar figure is HomeAdvisor’s, labeled national.

Older housing stock is the other point that article makes, including established neighborhoods such as Armory Park, Sam Hughes, and Barrio Viejo. We already have a heating page for Sam Hughes. A plumbing request uses the same ZIP check as a heating request. Communities and the ZIPs we describe are on service areas. If the form rejects the ZIP, we do not cover that house.

How a callback works

Name, mobile phone, and ZIP are required. Say whether the problem is a water heater, a drain or sewer, or something else, and whether water is moving, standing, or missing. “System down now” on the form means you want the request sorted as urgent. It does not mean a night dispatch, a holiday desk, or a technician in a Sabino Creek truck. Heating and cooling requests still go through the same form. The HVAC pages start at services and HVAC costs.

If you smell gas, or a carbon monoxide alarm is sounding, leave the house and call 911 or Southwest Gas. Do not send the form from inside. A gas water heater is a combustion appliance. The order of operations for an alarm is on carbon monoxide safety, written for the furnace and just as applicable when the appliance in question is the water heater.

Plumbing referral questions

Does Sabino Creek do the plumbing?

No. We are a referral service. A licensed local contractor does the work if you hire them.

Which license should I look up?

The Arizona Registrar of Contractors lists residential plumbing as R-37 Plumbing, Including Solar, and the dual commercial-and-residential class as CR-37 Plumbing. Use the license search steps on the contractor who calls you. An ad is not the license record.

How does a plumbing request get answered?

We follow up by phone or email. The form is a callback request. A licensed contractor sets any visit after they contact you. If you smell gas, leave and call 911 or Southwest Gas. Active flooding is described on the emergency plumber guide.

What does a price on these pages mean?

Dollar figures are national ranges from HomeAdvisor, with the guide and the date named on the page. They are not a Sabino Creek quote. Tucson notes about hard water, monsoon drains, and winter freezes are cited to the source named in the article.

Need a plumber to look at the house?

Name, mobile phone, and ZIP are required. The contractor you hire is the one who prices the work.
