Sahuarita sits on I-19 between Tucson and Green Valley, and the heating equipment changes with the era of the house. Rancho Sahuarita and the other planned neighborhoods from the 2000s are full of stucco production homes that were commonly built with heat pumps. The outdoor unit is the heat. There may be no gas furnace in a closet at all. The older townsite along the highway is a different stock, with furnaces that have been repaired in place. If you write “Sahuarita, no heat” and leave out which house, the next person has to guess.
85629 is the ZIP for most of the town. 85614 and 85622 are Green Valley, which heats a lot of package units and older single-story houses. That page is Green Valley heating. Do not send a Rancho heat pump to a package-unit script. The cooling URL for this town is Sahuarita AC repair. Both seasons are summarized on Sahuarita HVAC.
Lots here were often graded before the trees mattered. Wind and dust hit the outdoor coil more than they hit a walled midtown yard. A dirty coil heats poorly. Lifting debris by hand, with the disconnect off only if you know that switch, is as far as a homeowner note should go. Do not fold the fins with a hose. Cool air from a heat pump for a few minutes is covered on heat pump blowing cold air. A cloud on a cold morning is defrost. Gas furnaces, where they exist, start at furnace repair.
Electric service in town is usually Tucson Electric Power, with Trico on some rural edges. Read the bill before applying anything on TEP rebates. We are not on the participating-contractor list. Hot water in these production houses is Sahuarita plumbing, not a heating request. A coil caked with desert dust can look like a failed heat pump. Mention the dust. Leave the cabinet latched.
The referral desk does not repair heat pumps. An independent contractor would. Warranty and price stay with them. Confirm the license at roc.az.gov.
Choose No heat. Include 85629 if that is the house, say Rancho Sahuarita or the older town if you know, and say whether the outdoor unit runs in heat. Submit starts a follow-up. It does not book the work.
