HomeAdvisor’s air-conditioner repair guide, updated June 17, 2026, lists a yearly tune-up around $80–$100. That sentence is on HomeAdvisor’s AC repair cost page, and we already cite it on AC repair cost. It is a national published figure. It is not a Tucson price and it is not a Sabino Creek price. A firm number comes after we know whether the visit is a furnace, a heat pump, or both.
Tucson Electric Power lists an AC tune-up rebate of up to $160, broken out on tep.com/efficient-home-program as read October 15, 2026: refrigerant charge repair $80, indoor coil cleaning $40, and outdoor coil cleaning $40. That is a cooling tune-up rebate. It is not the price of a fall heating visit, and it requires a participating contractor. The full note is on TEP rebates. We are not stating that Sabino Creek is on that list. Do not subtract $160 from a heating tune-up.
What a fall visit actually covers is on heating tune-up. What a maintenance visit usually includes, without a membership price, is HVAC maintenance visits. A system that will not start is a repair, not a tune-up.

Name, mobile phone, and ZIP are required. Street address can wait. We follow up the same business day by phone or email. That is a callback, not a promise of a repair the same day.
